Used a bit in all directions to make loops, sampling, live. It is direct output from the sound card, and a Shure sm57 with a preamp for an acoustic guitar. The only complaint is that it's a shame it doesn't exist in 32-bit resolution like the 505 and that would really justify the price. Effects require a bit of handling, the sync varies a little. Quantization is a bit weird (when you're used to Ableton...). I have a 9v USB adapter (myvolts) and on the other hand, that's cool. It allows me to be mobile when I just want to make small loops with the guitar, cozy, sitting in bed... (And the power charger is really unbearable with these two pieces... he's not my friend) A very appreciable thing is the midi control. I have two controllers assigned on an mpd218 for playback volume 1 and 2. Perfect during a mix. And three pads for track selection (I have a footswitch for rec/play/overdub) and undo/redo on 1 and 2 on the mpk mini. Plus bank changes via the pads as well. Finally, it's just perfect, it integrates well into my setup. And the form factor (two tracks and not bulky) is really really really cool! I really wouldn't want anything else! Too bad for the 16 bits
